This was one of the most interesting experiences we could have done here in Lombok. Instead of relaxing at the beach, we chose to torture ourselves and climb up Mount Rinjani. However, Hero and his crew made it so pleasant by providing the best food like Nasi Goreng or fried banana pancakes! Everything was well organized and it was always easy to reach Hero on Whatsapp in case of any questions. Nous avons fait le trek de 3 jours et 2 nuits au Mont Rinjani avec la compagnie de Hero, recommandée par une amie — et c’était tout simplement incroyable du début à la fin ! Hero ne nous a pas accompagnés pendant le trek mais il a pris le temps la veille de tout bien nous expliquer, de nous rassurer et de nous recentrer. Tout était parfaitement organisé, on sent qu’il fait son travail avec passion et bienveillance. Nous étions un groupe de 9 personnes avec 2 guides (Ryan et Jojo) et 5 porteurs. L’ambiance était juste géniale : tout le monde était adorable, les guides super gentils, toujours souriants, drôles et motivants. Ils nous ont accompagnés et encouragés tout au long du trek, et on a bien rigolé avec eux ! Les porteurs sont tout aussi incroyables : ils s’occupent de tout porter pour vous (tentes, sacs de couchage, matériel, nourriture, etc.) et vous préparent tous les repas pendant le trek. Vous n’avez rien à faire à part profiter de la marche et des paysages magnifiques. Ils sont discrets mais tellement efficaces et bienveillants ! Niveau logistique, c’était au top : tous les repas sont inclus, copieux et délicieux, et même des petits gâteaux sont prévus dans la journée si on a un petit creux. La veille du départ, on dort dans une auberge confortable et ils viennent vous chercher directement là où vous êtes. Franchement, c’est l’une des meilleures excursions que j’ai faites de ma vie, une aventure humaine et sportive inoubliable. Volgens ons is er geen betere organisatie waarmee je dit kon doen :) Alles was van top tot teen geregeld! Transfer, welkomstdrankje & hapje, mooie homestay, totale uitrusting is inbegrepen van beanie tot stokken, heerlijk eten, en hij denkt in alles met je mee en staat altijd voor je klaar. Het is echt een groot familiebedrijf waar je je meteen welkom voelt. Hoewel de tocht zelf best zwaar was, maakte zij het een stuk comfortabeler met lekker eten, een goede slaapplek en een gezellige gids. We werden opgehaald van onze vorige locatie en na afloop weer afgezet op onze nieuwe bestemming. Eigentlich wollte ich nur bis zum Crater hoch, aber Hero bot mir spontan an, doch mit dem Rest der Gruppe bis zum Gipfel zu gehen.
